Free Knit & Crochet Dinosaur Patterns

All kids love animals, and Dinosaurs are a traditional favorite. Maybe it is because it stimulates their imaginations with extinct animals that they can only guess at how they behaved, or it could be just the creepy way some of them looked. In either case, if you want to see kids go crazy having fun, give them some kind of Dinosaur. Most retailers know this also. Have you ever noticed at a toy store how the Dinosaur toys are marked considerably higher than the more pedestrian, run-of-the-mill toys? There is a simple way to keep more of your money in your pocket in these harsh economic times - make the Dinosaurs yourself by knitting or crocheting them. You kids will love them, and you can spend your savings on foolish things like food and shelter.

When I began researching free Dinosaur knit & crochet patterns I had no idea how difficult it is to find them. Most websites have plenty of patterns to sell, but the freebies are few and far between. http://www.mkdesigner.com/C-DINO.html (Crochet) - This is a beautiful mini crochet Dinosaur, made with 15 yards of blue yarn and 8 inches of black yarn with a #9 steel hook.
