Step1
To locate the right muscles for doing Kegel exercises stop the flow of urine the next time you use the bathroom. Then relax to release the flow of urine again. The muscles you use to stop the flow of urine are the muscles you want to isolate for Kegel exercises.

Step2 Now that you have located the appropriate muscles you can begin doing Kegel exercises.
Step3 Firmly tense your targeted Kegel muscles.
Step4 Hold for as long as you can or up to 10 seconds. Don't worry if you can't hold it long at first, just keep practicing.
Step5 Slowly release the muscles and relax for several seconds
Step6 Repeat
Step7 Try and work your way up to 20 - 25 repetitions
