Bathroom Rules And Regulations

Sep 14th, 2010 by MsCompton

Has the world really come to the point that we, as human beings, are so disgusting that we need rules and regulations to use the toilet. I am basing this article off of a sign that is posted at my work in all the stalls of our restrooms.

I just cannot get past the point that someone has to set rules for one to sit on a toilet, go to the restroom, flush, and remember to wash their hands. I thought this was like the way of life. But we all know with the smells and non flushing comes the germs and diseases. How can someone be so unsanitary.

Well here they are RULES AND REULATIONS!

ATTENTION "The Place I Work Name" EMPLOYEES

In order to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of our restroom and to avoid spreading germs that cause illness... In consideration of others...

PLEASE FOLLOW THE BELOW LISTED GUIDELINES WHEN USING THE LADIES RESTROOM:

  • ALWAYS wash your hands before leaving the restroom to avoid spreading germs.
  • ALWAYS use a paper protector when seating on the toilet seat.
  • ALWAYS put paper towels in the wastebasket to avoid trash on the floor.
DO NOT FLUSH DOWN TOILET- CAUSES CLOGS
  • ALWAYS put sanitary napkins and tampons in the receptacles provided.
DO NOT FLUSH DOWN TOILET- CAUSES CLOGS
  • ALWAYS flush toilet tissue down the toilet- DO NOT THROW ON THE FLOOR- DO NOT FLUSH LARGE WADS - CAUSES CLOGS
  • NEVER flush toilet with foot- this causes damage to the flushing system
  • PLEASE report any needed supplies to the Receptionist or any on site janitorial employee

THANK YOU FOR TAKING PRIDE IN OUR FACILITY

How sad is this that people really have to be told to clean up after themselves.  This should be learned in 1st grade. This is why most people dont even like to use public restrooms.
