Sterilize Nadya Suleman – The Octo-Mom

Nadya Suleman, 33, jobless, receiving food stamps and generally being a public burden, drew international headlines after giving birth January 26 to octuplets conceived through in vitro fertilization.  Criticism over her decision to have 8 more babies intensified when the public learned she already had six children, ages 2 to 7, that she collects disability checks for 3 of them, in addition to seemingly being completely reliant on her mother Angela, who obviously carries the financial burden of raising so many children.  Angela the unfortunate grandmother of the newborn octuplets now faces the threat of foreclosure on the house she shares with her daughter and six (soon to be 14) of her grandchildren, property records revealed on Wednesday. 

Is anyone surprised that the entire Suleman family is about to become a burden on the already overburdened California taxpayer?  I am a California taxpayer, and not only do I have to wait an extended period of time to receive my state tax refund but I may also have to put up with a reality show featuring, that’s right, The Suleman Family.  You may too.  So far it seems that the Octo-Mom plans to support her ridiculously large family by; relying on public assistance, donations (you can donate on her website but can’t leave a comment), and cashing in on media interviews, book deals and commercial endorsements.  It was reported that she apparently wanted 2 million dollars to appear on Oprah.  Obviously, Nadya Suleman wanted a little notoriety and money to go with her large family.  

What should be done?  Her children should be taken away from her (at least the newborn babies) and placed with families who can and would be happy to take care of their needs.  Especially since these children are all likely going to have life-long medical and psychological handicaps.  Then Nadya Suleman, (obviously unstable) should be sterilized.  Someone please, get the woman a poodle.  

UPDATE: 

Apparently the Octo-Mom has turned down the offer from Vivid Entertainment to star in a porno movie with 8 men (symbolizing her octuplets) but may consider selling the octuplet’s birth video.  

TMZ claims: “We have absolute confirmation from multiple sources that a videotape showing Octo-Mom giving birth to her 8 babies in the hospital room is being shopped around town - FOR SEVEN FIGURES!!!!! It's unclear who's working the camera, but we do know the tape was shot with Nadya's consent.”
