How to Build a Garage And Upgrade Vehicles in Farmville

Since FarmVille's inception, there has been a lot of clicking to harvest, sow and seed crops.  With FarmVille's release of Garages that allow you to upgrade vehicles, all that clicking will be a thing of the past.  Upgrading FarmVille Vehicles in your Garage is not difficult, but can take time depending on how many neighbors you have.

Build Your Garage

To build your Garage, you must collect 10 wooden boards, 10 bricks, and 10 nails.  There are various ways to collect these items which you can read about in my article called How to Quickly Construct Buildings in FarmVille.  Once your FarmVille Garage is complete, you will be able to store a total of 20 vehicles.  Just move your vehicles over the completed Garage and click to store them.  Your FarmVille Harvesters, Seeders, and Tractors can all be stored in your Garage.  However, FarmVille Biplanes can not be stored.

Vehicle Upgrade Levels

Vehicles are upgraded by collecting Vehicle Parts.  Each time a vehicle is leveled, it will change the amount of plots it can harvest, plow or sow with one click. 

Level 1 vehicles affect a 2x2 area. 

Level 2 vehicles affect a 2x3 area and require 2 Vehicle Parts to upgrade from level 1.

Level 3 vehicles affect a 3x3 area and require 5 Vehicle Parts to upgrade from level 2.

Level 4 vehicles affect a 3x4 area and require 10 Vehicle Parts to upgrade from level 3.

Level 5 vehicles affect a 4x4 area and require 15 Vehicle Parts to upgrade from level 4.

If you have multiple vehicles of the same type (ie, two tractors), you can keep one at a lower level for use in smaller areas of your farm.  To access the highest level vehicle, you can use quick menu in the bottom right corner of FarmVille.  To access lower level vehicles, you can click on your garage and pick a vehicle to use.

Getting Vehicle Parts

Vehicle Parts are collected by gifting or through news feed update posts.  You can also "Make a Wish" for Vehicle Parts through your gift box.  You will need a total of 32 Vehicle Parts for each vehicle that you wish to upgrade to level 5, so get started!
