How To Make A 'Twilight' Bookmark

Feb 17th, 2009 by amazedwithyou

Creating a Twilight Bookmark can is both easy and fun. You can give them as gifts, sell them on eBay or use them for your reading.

If you have watched the movie or read the books you will understand the bookmarks that many are selling.  Below you will find the instructions on how to make your own.

Step #1

You should cut the beading wire 3x the length desired. If you are planning on the hanging length to be 3" then you need to cut the wire 9".

Step #2

Begin by adding a jump ring to the charm. The extra step ensures that your charm will face forward. If you do not have jump rings you can skip this step.

String your wire through the charm (or jump ring) and add a crimp bead then a few beads.

Step #3

Circle back and put end of the wire through the crimping bead and the beads. You will have the long end of the wire that will be used to secure the dangle to the bookmark (or other charm). Do NOT cut this long end when clipping!

Step #4

Use the crimping tool to collapse the crimp bead onto the wire. This will secure it close to the charm.

Trim close to the bead using your precision wire cutters.

Step #5

Continue adding beads as desired. When finished use the same technique above.

Loop the wire end through the bookmark hole (or as exampled charm).

Step #6

Use crimping tool to collapse the crimp bead onto the wire.

Trim close to the bead using your precision wire cutters.

Step #7

I would suggest starting your instructions with a list of supplies needed.
