Trying to prevent those nasty red razor burn bumps on your bikini area can get quite tricky, but with the use of the right product you can say good bye to those Red bumps forever. Some women like to moisturize their bikini area with baby oil to soften up the skin before using the razor.

A great product to use to prevent razor bumps on your bikini area is by applying a thick coat of Polysporin. After you wash and moisturize your bikini area with baby oil apply a rather thick coating of Polysporin to the bikini area. Either just on the sides of your vagina or you can cover the whole vagina with the Polysporin. Make sure you don't purposely insert the Polysporin way up into the vagina. If you accidentally cut your lip of your vagina you may apply the ointment there just don't over due it. Shave with a clean razor and shave downwards.

Third product to use to prevent razor bumps on your bikini area is Desitin. Many Mothers use this Desitin Cream to help with their babies diaper rash. Desitin can be applied onto your bikini area before you are ready to shave. First place the cream onto the desired area that needs to be shaved. Make sure your cover that entire area very well. Then leave this cream on for 15-20 minutes allowing it to soften up the skin. Rinse this cream off with a cool rinse then apply the cream once again. Take a clean razor and shave the desired area. Once you are all done shaving your bikini area reapply the Desitin cream and let it stay on there. Make sure this coating of cream is a very light coating.
