How To Cook Tilapia

You can have yummy home made Tilapia in minutes. Its quick, healthy, and delicious! All you need is a conventional oven, butter, and some lemon pepper seasoning!

Step 1:
First you will need to remove desired number of tilapia fillets from freezer and thaw them in a plastic bag in a bowl of warm water or in the sink for about 5 minutes. (Tilapia may be purchased at your local grocery store in the frozen foods section)

Step 2:
Set the oven to broil, and remove tilapia from plastic wrapping. Butter both sides of the tilapia fillet and then lightly cover each side with lemon pepper seasoning.

Step 3: Place tilapia in the oven on a baking sheet for 3-4 minutes, then remove and turn the tilapia fillets over and continue cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes or until tilapia flakes when pierced with fork.   Step 4: Voila! You have a quick, delicious, healthy fish fillet. Add any side you would like to make this a full meal, it goes great with just about anything. Remove and serve!
