Monitor Your Health by The Colour of Your Urine

This is a very easy way to monitor your health and identify many related symptoms that may be affecting you and then take the right remedial action. Just by regularly taking notice of the colour of your urine you will be able to diagnose for yourself what you need to do to maintain yourself in a healthy condition.

The very simple process of checking the colour of your urine will allow you to prevent many of your organs from malfunctioning and for you to avoid any unnecessary pain and discomfort.

If all of your bodily organs are functioning properly your urine should be clear and transparent just like clean water. This is because your kidneys are working well and the fluid in your body is normal.

When the colour of your urine is slightly reddish this will indicate that either one of your kidneys is suffering from kidney stones, which is the build up of too much calcium, or you have a stomach ulcer problem.

With kidney stones you will also experience some pain in your lower back, either on the left or right, depending on which kidney it is. With a stomach ulcer you may well have some lower abdomen aches or pains.

By drinking plenty of water and cranberry juice you will flush out the stones from your kidneys quite naturally and keep drinking plenty of water and they will not return.

For stomach ulcers you should drink milk which will calm them and allow for them to heal naturally. Stomach ulcers are caused by eating too much red meat which increases the acidic level in your stomach.

If the colour of your urine is yellowish this will indicate that your liver is not completely working to its full capacity. This may be because you are eating too much food for your body’s requirements.

Try changing your diet slightly by eating less meat and more fish, if the colour of your urine becomes clearer then an adjustment in your diet is all that is necessary.

If your urine stays yellowish and you also experience most of the time a feeling of fatigue and you are generally without much energy, this will indicate that your blood is deficient of iron.

To remedy this iron deficiency you should buy a course of iron tablets from your local pharmacy. These iron tablets will supplement the iron that your body is not naturally producing.

You should also eat more vegetables in your diet, because most green vegetables contain iron naturally and by eating them you will soon find that your urine colour should start to become clearer.

If when you urinate there is a sweet aroma to your urine, then that will indicate that you are developing the symptoms of diabetes, essentially this will be because there is an increased level of sugar in your blood.

Extra sugar is produced in the human body and flows into the blood stream and some traces of it finish up in the urine. This extra sugar is because your body is not producing enough natural insulin.

Diabetes is a common health problem as people get older and a check up at your local doctors will confirm how far the diabetes has developed and your doctor will notify you of the treatment that you may need.
