Are you going to be in Florida or California on your next birthday? If so then, Disney has a gift for you. A day with M-I-C-K-E-Y! M-O-U-S-E! Mickey Mouse!

Are you one of those people who have to celebrate their birthday on Thanksgiving or Christmas? Now, you can get a special gift from Disney. If you are going to be in Florida or California, between now and December 31, you get free admission to Disney amusement parks if it is your birthday.

Not only do you get in free on your birthday, but if you were born during the holidays, you get to share holiday events at Disney as well. Any birthday person, young or old, will get free admission on their birthday throughout 2009. This goes for parents, grandparents, or anyone who is celebrating their birthday this year.

The first thing you will need to do is register your birthday. You can register your entire family if you like. You must be 18 or older to register online. Parents need to register all family members, then print the confirmation message you will receive back by email as a receipt. Two weeks before each birthday, you will get a reminder via email. You can use that reminder to get free admission on the day of your birthday.

Remember admission is only good on your actual birthday; there cannot be substitute days unless specified by Disney due to a closing or other event. Then it will be available on the previous open day before or after your birthday. Kids under age 3 will automatically get in free, so no need for an ID or registration for them. Bring your ID with you, as well as, the confirmation message to the gate at Disney on your birthday.

A proper ID would include a driver’s license, a government ID or passport, if you are under age 18 and do not have an ID for the birthday child you can bring an original or certified copy of the child’s birth certificate. The general admission ticket is free; however, you can upgrade your ticket at Disney at your own cost.

November 18, 2009, is Mickey Mouse's 81st birthday. This is the day of Mickey’s first public appearance in the cartoon, Steamboat Willie. In celebration of his birthday, it is only fitting to be reminded of a free Disney gift for all birthday guest.

Expires on December 31, 2009
