How to Make a Beach Themed Wedding Card Box

Making your own beached themed wedding card box is easy and special. Wedding card boxes are a great way to collect your wedding cards while adding special details to your wedding. Beach themed weddings are always popular in the summer, and this craft is perfect for you beach themed wedding. This article will provide you with step-by-step instructions on how to make a beach themed wedding card box.

For this wedding card box you will need 3 boxes; the boxes will each have to be smaller than the next. You will also need blue wrapping paper, a hot glue gun, hot glue sticks, scissors, a pen knife or box cutter, a pencil, sand, iridescent glitter, tape, white glue, shells, and sand.

Start this beach themed wedding card box by placing all of the boxes on top of each other. Use the pencil to trace the bottom of the smaller boxes onto the larger boxes. Also draw a wide slit on the top of the smallest box. Make sure to tape all of the boxes together securely.

Then cut and inch smaller on all sides than the traced areas of the boxes. This will create a hole in the top of all the boxes. Next draw a square about an inch smaller than the bottom of the medium box on the bottom of the medium box. Do the same thing to the small box. Cut out these squares as well.

Wrap all of the boxes with the blue wrapping paper. Use the pen knife to cut an X in the paper covering the holes in the boxes. Fold the flaps in to cover the edges of the holes. Use the tape to secure the paper in place.

Glue the boxes one on top of the other in the correct order. Then add white glue around the edges where the boxes meet. Sprinkle sand on this part of your beach themed wedding box. Add some glitter on top of the sand as well.

To decorate your beach themed wedding card box simply add the shells in various locations using the hot glue gun. Also add glitter and sand to the box to make it even more reminiscent of your beach themed wedding.
