Do you hate cleaning the bathroom as much as I do? Don't want to spend $80 on a cleaning lady? Want to have a sparkling clean bathroom without having to scrub it every week? I spend one minute every day before taking a shower to keep my bathroom sparkling clean, and here's how you can do it too.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You'll Need

  • Glass cleaner (e.g. Windex)
  • Disinfectant spray (e.g Lysol)
  • Bleach powder
  • Paper towel
  • Sponge
  • Toilet brush
  • Mold and mildew remover (e.g. Tilex)

Steps

Step One Monday:
Every Monday, spray the mirror with the glass cleaner. Spray the faucet, the door knob, the counter tops, and the toilet seat with disinfectant spray. Wipe these down using a paper towel. This will take you 1 minute approximately. Step Two Tuesday:
Every Tuesday, sprinkle powdered bleach on the sink. Use the sponge to scrub the sink for 30 seconds, and rinse. This will take you a total of approximately 1 minute. Don't worry about only scrubbing it for 30s; since you will be scrubbing your sink every Tuesday, it will stay clean. Step Three Wednesday:
Every Wednesday, sprinkle the powdered bleach inside the toilet bowl and scrub it using the toilet brush. Flush. This should take you around a minute too. Step Four Thursday:
Every Thursday, move the bathmats and use a broom to sweep the bathroom floor. You can also use a vacuum cleaner. This doesn't take more than a minute in my bathroom. Step Five Friday:
Every Friday, sprinkle the powdered bleach on your bathtub or shower floor, and use the sponge to scrub it. Rinse. This may take you slightly longer than a minute. Step Six Saturday:
Every Saturday, spray the shower curtain and the tiles with a mold and mildew remover. Wipe everything down. This should also take around a minute. Step Seven Sunday:
You have worked hard all week, so just sit back and relax the sparkling clean bathroom you have. Step Eight Continue this routine every week. You will see that you have replaced a heavy duty bathroom cleaning session every weekend to simple 1 minute long chores throughout the week. Your bathroom will stay sparkling clean as long as you take time every day to clean some aspect of it.
