Malibu Fish & Seafood (http://www.malibuseafood.com)
25653 Pacific Coast Hwy, Malibu 90265
Btwn Malibu Rd & Corral Canyon Rd
What could taste better when you are by the ocean? It's certainly fish and this place will surely impress you. If you are a fish and chips fan then make sure you check it out. It is cheap and it is fast. There is nothing special with the decorations and the service is good but there is not that much that they do. You just order your food, they cook it then call your number and you pick it up. And to top that all, you can have fantastic views of Malibu from here.
Lino Ristorante (http://www.linomalibu.com)
21337 Pacific Coast Hwy, Malibu 90265
At Rambla Vista
If you are a Mediterranean cuisine fan this is the place to be. It has a very authentic feel and Lino (the owner) is always at the restaurant, which is something that most owners in the Mediterranean do. It is a great place to take your date, especially in winter and sit around the fireplace. The prices are not on the cheap side but the food and the great service will make up for it.
Howdy's Taqueria Malibu
3835 Cross Creek Rd #3, Malibu 90265
Btwn Civic Center Way & Pacific Coast Hwy
You probably heard it before, that the best Mexican food is in California and this place proves it. The staff are so friendly that they will make you feel like you have known them before. The food is very fast but don't let that fool you. It is always very fresh and well prepared. One thing you should try is their Pico De Gallo with the Malibu chicken tostado which comes as an entrée for only $9.95.
Moonshadows Malibu (http://www.monnshadowsmalibu.com)
20356 Pacific Coast Hwy, Malibu 90265
Btwn Big Rock Dr & Los Flores Canyon Rd
This place is loved by celebrities so you can get lucky and spot one or two. But that usually means over priced dishes. It might be expensive but considering the food, which is heavenly good, the people who frequent this place and the location it is all worth it. The atmosphere as you can imagine is very upscale and the service is good unless you are a snob.
Giovanni's
22235 Pacific Coast Hwy, Malibu 90265
Btwn Sweetwater Canyon Dr & Carbon Canyon Rd
Have you ever heard of someone saying that they don't like pizza? If you did then you should take them to this place. The pizza here is something like you have never tasted before. Most pizzas are priced at $16.50 which is a very good price considering the size. The service is very friendly and will do everything in their power to make sure that you are served right.
Zooma Sushi (http://www.zommasushi.com)
29350 Pacific Coast Hwy, Malibu 90265
At Heathercliff Rd
Sushi lovers will not be disappointed in Malibu as this restaurant offers it all. The atmosphere is very nice but when it's busy it can get a little stuffy. The prices on food are moderate and the fish is always fresh.
Inn of the Seventh Ray (http://www.innoftheseventhray.com)
The one and only vegetarian place in Malibu and often times you can hear mixed reviews about this place. One thing you should do is avoid busy hours and you will be guaranteed good food and service. The atmosphere is one of the best in Malibu with a very charming outdoor garden. The service may be a little slow but they always do their job.
Coogie's Beach Café
23755 Malibu Rd, Malibu 90265
At Malibu Bluff
If you are looking for a diner and coffee shop then this is the place for you. This place is simply great. The employees are very friendly and they make sure that they give you a good service. The prices are very good for what you get. So if you want to relax and eat good food then look no further.
Tra di Noi
3835 Cross Creek Rd , Malibu 90265
Btwn Civic Center Way & Pacific Coast Hwy
This is another place that is frequented by celebrities. It is usually hard to get in unless you have a reservation, so make sure you have one. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the food is excellent but the bill can be a little shocking.
Malibu Kitchen
3900 Cross Creek Rd #3, Malibu 90265
Btwn Civic Center Way & Pacific Coast Hwy
After a good lunch or dinner you would probably want dessert and there is no other place better than Malibu Kitchen. The prices are underpriced and the seating space is good. But if you have an attitude skip this place because you will probably be snapped at by the employees.
