I have stayed in Keni Po Tagaytay twice and I can say I was very satisfied. First, the price is very affordable on my first visit I booked a room for only P1,200 a night (about $27) it has a double bed good for 2 it is located on the second floor and has it's own veranda.
Tagayatay is just an a hour and half away from Manila the capital of the Philippines. It's a perfect getaway and an alternative destination to a beach where most of us usually spend our weekend. One of the first thing we do before visitng a place is to look for a nice and affordable hotel or accommodation to stay. I have stayed in Keni Po Tagaytay twice and I can say I was very satisfied.
First, the price is very affordable on my first visit I booked a room for only P1,200 a night (about $27) it has a double bed good for 2 it is located on the second floor and has it's own veranda. It has a personal bathroom, although it's small but it's very clean. Keni Po also provides daily fresh towels and upon check in they will give you toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, tissue, shampoo and conditioner) It has also Hot and Cold Shower. The room also have a small personal ref and a 14 inch tv with cable. They also serve food with price ranges from 75-150 a meal.
Second time I booked at Keni Po I asked for a family room, It cost me P1,800($40) a night. The room is twiced as big as my previous room it has a queen size bed it can fit 4-5 persons because aside from the queen size bed it has a pullout that can fit 2 persons. It has a much bigger bathroom and it's located at the first floor. like my previous room it has a small personal frig and a 14 inch tv with cable.
Keni po has a an ample space for parking and has a security guard 24/7. Also on my second visit they added another amenitiy and that is a good sized pool that can be used up to 11 pm (I'm not sure!?). It's beside Ina ng Laging Saklolo Church so hearing mass on Sunday is not a problem. It's also near Picnic Grove.
The one and only problem I encountered here is the transportaion because the first time I booked at Keni Po I didn't bring a car I relied on passenger jeepneys, the problem is when night time arrived or as early as 6 in the evening there are only few or non at all passenger jeepneys plying around the area. It would be very difficult to go and come back from the rotonda or the magallanes square where all the restaurants or nice places to hangout at night where located. One option left is to hire a tricyle to bring you back at Keni Po Hotel.
hi..me and my boyfriend is planning for a weekend getaway in tagaytay and i’m taking keni po as a consideration for a place to stay. but i still have a lot of inquiries, hope you can help me out. - how to get here (commute via bus)? where should the bus drop us off? - how much does a room cost? is it clean? how about the bathroom? - what are the beautiful places we can visit if we stay here and how to get there? - are there restaurants near the hotel? what can you say about their foods? - is it a safe place to stay? - how to go back to manila? is there a bus terminal, near this place, going back to manila?
Hope to get a reply from you soon.
Thanks. Mico
