How to Use Bushels in Farmville to Achieve Masteries

Farmville has become a widely played game on Facebook. It is played by millions of people of all ages. Zynga, the company that develops Farmville, is always coming up with new items and features to keep the game new and fresh. This is part of what has made the game addictive to many people.

One of the latest features on Farmville is the ability to have a Farmer's Market.  Maybe you have ignored this feature because you are focused on gaining masteries, but the Farmer's Market, and more specifically, the ability to use bushels can help you master many crops in half the time!

To use a bushel to its fullest potential, activate it through the Farmer's Market before you start to harvest your crop.  Don't have any bushels on hand for your crop?  Here are some ways to find them!

Your Friend's Farmer's Markets

Through your Farmer's Market page (click on one of your Market Stalls) you can access your friend's farmers markets.  Look through the categories for the type of bushel you need and just add some to your bag!  You will only need one or two to get you started so don't be greedy.  You can also access your friend's Farmer's Markets through their farm by clicking on their Market stalls.

Your Friends Feed

When people have too many bushels for their Farmer's Market, they can post them for all their friends to take advantage of.  Skim through your feed for FarmVille posts and expand to see all the related posts so you don't miss any.  The bushel posts are easy to spot because they have a picture of a bushel next to them.  Just find one for your crop that still has bushels available and you are good to go!  These don't expire (but they can be drained if all the available bushels are taken) so go back a few days or more on your feed!

Harvest Slowly

If you still can't find any available bushels, you can find them yourself!  But to get the maximum potential from your harvest, harvest slowly until you find a bushel, then go to your Market Stall and activate the bushel and then continue harvesting.

You will gain one extra point per plot towards mastering your crop which will cut the number of plots you have to plant for the mastery in half which will save you time and lots of clicking.
