Here are some unusual sexual acts in the animal kingdom.

By merely looking at this picture one would already conclude that this is indeed a bizarre sexual act of an animal.

Imagine, a giraffe trying to have a sexual intercourse with a mule, that's kind of weird. Well, what do you think will be

the appearance of their offspring just in case she gets pregnant?

This is one sexual act that is truly bizarre. I thought it's the sexual organ that undergo enlargement when having sexual

intercourse, why is it that the tortoise's head and neck that underwent enlargement? Whew!!!

Snails will perform torrid kissing before they mate. On the picture above, you can see how intimate their kissing is.

Most snails can mate when they are around 1 year old. Prior to reproduction, most land snails perform a ritual

courtship before mating. This may last anywhere between two and twelve hours. Whew, snail sex!!!

Have you ever seen mating earthworms prior to this?  Judging the presented picture above, I would say that their sexual

act is very intense and really, really hot. Earthworms are hermaphrodites: They have 2 pairs of testes, surrounded by

2 pairs of testes sacs. There are 2 pairs of seminal vesicles which produce, store and release the sperm via the male

pores, and ovaries and ovipores that release eggs via female pores.

I thought chameleon only change color when their safety is in danger. It seems to me that they also change color when

they mate. Or would I say, these are two different species of chameleon and therefore I can conclude that there is no

sexual discrimination among their kind. Chameleons change their color in response to light exposure and ambient

temperature. And according to recent research, it has indicated that Chameleons may use color changes as a method

of communication, including how to make themselves more attractive to potential mates.

This is a picture of a mating coots, the female is almost completely submerge while the male is on top of her. I never

would have been thought that it is possible for birds to do such thing. Well, coots are water birds and I guess they're

already used to this unusual sexual act. The question is, how long will it take for the female to stay underwater?

Look at this pair of mating Marsh frogs (Rana ridibunda), isn't it weird? Two balloon-like objects puff out from the

male's gills/ears (I'm not really sure) while they're mating.

On many occasions, appearance, size and color don't really matter among several animals as manifested on the

picture above and the other one below.

This one is yet another bizarre sexual act. All the time I thought only humans can mate face to face. Well, I was wrong,

these two reptiles just proved it.

Look at how dragonflies mate, it's truly a unique one, I call it pole mating. Among mating animals, the male is easily

recognize once you spotted a mating partner, usually the male is on top of the female. In this particular case, which is

the male and the female? And what's that tail doing on the others head?

I still can't understand why the lions (and tigers also) are always angry even during sexual intercourse. Don't they feel

any satisfaction or enjoyment at all?
