Why Legend of The Seeker Should be Renewed For a Third Season

Presented with one of the best fantasy genre TV shows ever made, and indeed my favorite, I am shocked to discover that there is debate over whether there will be a season 3 of this fantastic TV show aired by ABC.

Never before have I seen a fantasy show that presents itself in such a stunning and emotionally pleasing manner. Sure there are cartoons galore about wizards and heroes out to save the world, and sure there are several fantasy TV shows such as the BBC’s “Merlin”, but none of them can muster up the sheer brilliance that “Legend of the Seeker” has been able to bring to the TV screen. The actors grace the screen with their acting ability (and good looks) and the story, though not entirely true to the books, keeps viewers on the edge of their seats.

With a fan base that creates the ratings nearing 2.5 million, it is surprising that ABC would even consider dropping this show from television. Consistently Legend of the Seeker has shown to be one of the best shows on television, and although it does not rank in the top 25 slots, there is much to be said about a cult following. People love Legend of the Seeker, with forums and fan sites galore devoted to it.

To show support for the creation of a third season of Legend of the Seeker, multitudes of petitions have been created, such as this one, and email groups have been created to show ABC (and other stations deemed suitable to pick up the show) that there is a fan base behind Legend of the Seeker, and that they are ready and willing to show their fandom.
