Signs That He Is Not Interested In You

Learning how to read the signs when a man is not interested in you will save you from wasting time pursuing a relationship that will never happen. Just because a man isn't interested in you doesn't mean that you're a bad person or anything is wrong with you - it just means that he isn't the one for you. But that's okay, there are a lot of great guys out there who would love to spend time with a great gal like you!

Sign 1
He doesn't ask you out. Don't fool yourself by playing "what if" - "What if he's shy?", "What if he doesn't know I'm single?", "What if he doesn't think I'm interested in him?". Men will overcome any shyness they may have in order to ask out a woman. They will go to great lengths to find out if she's single and they do not even think about the possibility that she may not like them. The only reason he is not asking you out is because he is not interested in you.

Sign 2
He doesn't call. He did not loose your number and he isn't too busy. Even the busiest person will make time for someone they care about. Men are not stupid, so on the off chance he did loose your number, he would find a way to get a hold of you if he wanted. Do not continue to call him numerous times, letting him know how to get a hold of you. He already knows how to get a hold of you. You know how you roll your eyes or scream "leave me alone" at the phone when that one creepy guy keeps calling you? This man is doing the same thing every time you call. Don't make him think of you as that creepy woman who can't take a hint.

Sign 3
He does call but it's always late at night and he's drunk. This is known as a booty call. The only purpose for this call is because he is drunk, horny and struck out at the bar. Do not fool yourself into thinking he must like you because he thought of you. If he liked you he would have called earlier in the week, when he was sober, and asked you out on a date.

Sign 4
He has asked you out on a date but he isn't engaging in conversation. I have no idea who made up the stereotype that men don't talk but it is not true. Men talk just as much as women do. When a man is interested in you he will share information about himself and ask you questions about your life.

Sign 5
He talks about other women. When a man starts telling you about other women in his life he is making it clear that he is not interested in you.

Sign 6
He flirts with other women in front of you. This is a definite sign that you do not have his attention.

Sign 7
When he's with you, he isn't "with" you. You're telling him about the promotion at work you just got and he's texting his brother about going to the game next weekend. This is his way of telling you that he finds just about anything to be more important than you.

Sign 8
He says he thinks of you as a sister or doesn't want to ruin your friendship. That may sound sweet but the truth is no man worries about ruining a friendship if he is truly interested in a woman.

Sign 9
He won't plan ahead. If he asks you out, it's always at the last minute. This is because he didn't find anyone better to ask out. You may even point out to him that it would be nice if he could ask you out earlier in the week for the weekend and he tells you that he just can't plan that far in advance. However, he has playoff tickets with his buddies for next year.

Sign 10
He cancels plans at the last minute or just doesn't show up. He made plans with you but then something "better" came along. He met a new woman that day, one of his buddies called or he decided that he'd rather stay home. Either way he's saying that you're not that important to him.

Sign 11
He lets you pay for everything. You may think that this mean he realizes and appreciates the fact that you are a strong, modern woman but it actually means he's using you. Men have an innate desire to be the provider. That doesn't mean that you shouldn't pick up the check now and then but if you're paying his bills you may want to rethink things.
