Flower Brooch Free Crochet Pattern

May 25th, 2010 by Rhonda Greene

Crochet a cute flower brooch with this free pattern. It uses very small amounts of yarn, making it a great stashbuster project.

022587409.jpg Celebrate spring by crocheting this cute flower brooch!  You can pin it to your lapel, wear it on a hat, use it to embellish the purse, or put it anywhere else your imagination can cook up.  It is assembled from five separate elements: a smaller flower, a larger flower, a set of leaves, a button and a pin back.

The example shown was crocheted with worsted weight yarn and a size G hook and measures about 3 inches across.  (Click on the thumbnail to view a larger version of the image.) Finished size will vary depending on your yarn selection, hook size, and tension.
