You often hear talk about microsoft point generators and how you can get free microsoft points online but do these free point generators really work?

The real truth is that these programs do not work and you should NEVER use them and there are many problems with them.

Nearly all of these programs have nasty software attached and have things called trojan horses on them.  They can do many things including deleting your files, finding personal information and just being a general pain in the ass ranging to being a real security threat.

If that does not put you off then you should also know that if you type in your xbox account and password then you have just given a complete stranger and very likely a very dishonest one your xbox live account with any ms points you have on it, your credit card details, your friends, your achievements, your games list and even your facebook and twitter accounts if they are connected to your xbox.

Also these sites never work - why would someone give away free microsoft points even if they got them for free - they could go to jail and also they could sell them.  Would you give away something for free when you could sell it to a complete stranger who you have never even seen - NO!

Even if none of that puts you off this is all very illegal and if you even did get a code if Microsoft find out they can ban your account and you would lose all your details and things like achievements for ever.

The moral of the story sadly is that nothing is truly free in this world and you would be daft to expect it.  Think about it this way, if I told you to write your credit card details in the comment box or even just your email address would you do it! NO and I am a nice person!
