Practical Wedding Favors That Your Guests Will Love

May 7th, 2010 by HappyGoLucky

Everyone expects a favor sitting on the table when they attend a wedding. So, how do you pick the perfect favor that isn't going to be tossed after the wedding! It's called getting creative! I almost want to book another wedding just for the fun of planning it!

Weddings can cost a family so much money and with the economy the way it is at the moment, saving a few pennies here and there is not a bad thing. Sit down with a sheet of paper and do a bit of brain storming. You might be amazed at the ideas you come up with!

1. Bookmarks with the date of the wedding and the location. Is there anyone who can't use a bookmark??  And if you think that all bookmarks are the same shape, you might be surprised. Check these out. I particularly like the snow flake shaped bookmark.

2. Candles... even a pair of tapers that are the same color as your wedding colors. I really like the tiny adirondack chair that is holding a tea candle! Take a look

3. Bottle Openers. they have come along way since the beer bottle openers. Now they are pretty fancy. Like this one. It looks like a wedding slipper.  You will never think of bottle openers in the same way. What about this one??

4. Towel Cake... you might remember these from baby showers where cakes were built with diapers, diaper pins and baby rattles. Now brides are using hand towels to  create the cutest little favors. Now the chance that you will ever take these "cakes" apart are unlikely. Yes, they are that cute. Take a look. These look good enough to eat.

5. Heart Shaped Vase. It's big enough so that there is room for the bride and groom's name and date of the wedding and can hold one or two blooms. And you are really going to like the price. I didn't know that favors like this could be so inexpensive! Take a look. You are going to really like these!

6.Tea Pot Dish. If you drink tea, you know that the first thing that someone thinks about is where to dispose of the tea bag?? You could get up from your comfortable spot and drop it into the trash, but isn't it nicer just to place it in a little dish to be disposed of later? That's exactly what this wedding favor has been designed to do and should be much appreciated by your guests. Head over and take a look!

7. My son and brand new daughter-in-law had tiny boxes of chocolates waiting for all of their guests. I certainly didn't hear one person question this little favor! Four tiny chocolates that you could savor in a bath full of bubbles!
