10 Delicous Ways To Use Pillsbury Crescent Roll Dough
Pillsbury Crescent Roll Dough is not only delicious, it is easy to work with and very versatile.
1. Stew Topping/Biscuit
The next time you make stew, place individual servings into ramekins (onion soup bowls will do ) and top with enough Pillsbury Crescent Dough to cover. Put in oven and cook according to package directions. Within minutes your stew will have a puffy, buttery biscuit baked on top.
2. Cheesy Chicken Roll
Roll out two packages of Pillsbury Dough. Spread one with low fat Philadelphia Cream Cheese. Sprinkle with shredded cooked chicken spices and chopped green onions. Place second sheet of dough on top and pinch all edges to make a seal. Roll sealed dough (side to side not lengthwise) and bake according to directions. You may have to bake a few extra minutes to cook the center of the roll.
3. Ham and Cheese Bundles
Roll out a container of dough and with a round cutter, cut dough into several circles . Spread half of the rounds with a thin layer of Dijon Mustard. Cover with finely chopped leftover ham and top with shredded Cheddar Cheese. Place remaining rounds of dough on top and carefully roll edges up to produce a small "bundle" Cook according to directions.
4. Teeny Weenies
For these you`ll need two packages of Pillsbury Crescent Roll Dough and one can of cocktail wieners. Separate the triangles of dough. Sprinkle cheese on each triangle and place one Cocktail Wiener towards the end of the triangle. Roll as you would a crescent roll. Cook according to package directions. Serve with tiny pots of Ketchup or Mustard for dipping.
5. Asparagus Mushroom and Swiss Rolls
Roll out two Packages of Crescent Roll Dough and cut each one into six rectangles. About 1" from the end of each piece, place one steamed Asparagus spear and several sauteed fresh mushrooms. Top with shredded Swiss Cheese and roll the dough up. Bake according to directions. * These are nice when served topped with a white sauce or Hollandaise sauce.

Roll out two packages of Pillsbury Crescent Roll Dough. Top one with a layer of your favorite cheese. Place second piece of dough on top and roll edges up slightly (just enough so the toppings don`t fall off) Top with your favorite Pizza ingredients including more cheese and bake according to directions plus a minute or two.
8. Chili Pots
Form Crescent Dough into small muffin tins and bake just until dough starts to puff up. Fill with leftover (or canned ) chili and top with cheese. Cover with another piece of dough and cook till browned.
9. Apple Turnovers
Roll out a package of Crescent dough and cut into for squares. In the center of each square put a spoonful of apple pie filling and a piece of Cream Cheese. Sprinkle with cinnamon and a small dab of butter. Draw the corners of the dough up and pinch together in the center. Sprinkle with course sugar (optional) and bake according to directions. * Good served with a drizzle of Maple Syrup.
