Christianity Makes no Sense

May 1st, 2010 by rowanman28

Christianity has many interpretations, and they all say Jesus is the son of God, but then the bible also says we are all sons of God, we only have to know it, so why does christianity make such a fuss about Jesus all the time? It makes no sense.

The bible says that Satan cannot understand the book of Christianity, it just makes no sense to him, so therefore anyone who doesn't believe in the bible, or the book of Christianity, (and Judaism), must be Satan, or one of his allies if you take the interpretation in that way. A good way to halt discussion by calling it heresy. Christianity makes no sense, it hinges on the fact that Jesus died for all our sins, according to Christianity, and it's bible, and therefore our sins are forgiven, and so on, I just don't understand it.

I never did, and probably never will understand Christianity and the bible. There are so many contradictions in the bible, like in the first testament it says the dead are conscious of nothing at all, and even if there was a small change caused by Jesus to claim that he was the only way to heaven, heaven was originally promised as heaven on earth. Hell was not even in the bible until the start of Christianity.

There is so much irrelevant stuff in the bible, I never forced myself to read it all the way through, but from what I know, there are many contradictions, and unless you have the right view on it, which is that it is a mythical account of history, mixed with legend, meant to give comfort and guidance, just like the countless other traditions of other cultures around the world, of which Christianity is one, you have got the wrong view of it.

Christians are fanatical about the truth of the bible, at least these days, they haven't got the power to punish you for not believing in Christianity at a government level, and thank God for that. There might be a spirit inhabiting the universe for all I know, but then why would you believe what one group of people (Christianity), said about it, over another group? They can't all be right.
