Many Are Chosen....but Few Are Called!

Teaching is not an easy job, therefore, teaching is not for everyone. It requires much more than just academic qualifications. I remember when I was a newly graduate, I had a talked with my aunt about teaching career. She is a well-known retired secondary teacher. For her, teaching is not just a profession but more of a vocation. Only those who really love teaching  will succeed in the field

When I started my teaching career  in a private school, I learned more of the value of it. Indeed, theories being applied provide a deeper satisfaction to me. Teaching involves commitment, patience and dedication.We must never surrender no matter how difficult it is to handle our students. We must be persistent and creative in using different instructional procedures to help those students who are having learning.

Teaching has been identified as a noble profession. We handle the complicated task of developing the personality of the student to produce good and responsible citizens of the country in the future. Our role as a teacher is to educate the young generation and mold their young minds. Teaching also aids us to upgrade our knowledge. It is because, it is our duty to conduct a research on various topics before lecturing it to class. Through continuous research, we discover more and learn more.  And the knowledge that we get  makes us feel more complete. Thus, we gained more self confidence in sharing the knowledge that get.

With this, I can say that there is no greater joy or happiness for a teacher than to see his students learning and improving on his way of life.
