Tresemme Two Hairspray Extra Hold Aerosol Review

My daughter is very active in sports and dance. While she doesn’t have to worry about her hair staying picture perfect on the soccer field, she does have to worry about it when it comes to ballet recitals.

We have tried a variety of different mousses, gels and hairsprays trying to find the one that would keep her hair in place during dress rehearsal and into the recital itself. On recital day, her hair needs to stay in place for eight to ten hours through multiple leaps and pirouettes. Last year we finally found the product that we had been searching for.

The product I am talking about is Tresemme Tres Two Hairspray Extra Hold hair spray in the 11 ounce aerosol can. I bought this to try because the can states that it has 24 hour control. I did not expect it to last that long, but was hoping that it would be just half as good as it stated.

When we first used the spray we noticed that it had a very fine mist and went on light with a pleasant smell. When used on dry hair it did not leave a sticky residue. My daughter wears her hair up in a bun for ballet. She has thick, fine hair that does not like to stay up and plenty of wisps that fall down around her face even if we can manage to find something to keep the majority of her hair in place. Those wisps can be very distracting for a dancer. 

We sprayed all of her hair before putting it up into a bun. Once the bun was in place, we sprayed the finished hairstyle and hoped for the best. Her hair held up through the practice and dress rehearsal, which always is tougher than the recital itself. The bun remained in place and there were no wisps flying in her face. Everything was as it should be and this was about six hours after the Tresemme Tres Two Hairspray Extra Hold had first been applied.

I was very happy with how long this product had lasted so far, but it still had the recital itself to go through which was another two hours away. We did not want to overuse the product on her hair, but did decide to spray on another light coat just in case. Whether we needed to or not, her hair made it through the recital and curtain calls without a wisp in sight.

If Tresemme Tres Two Hairspray Extra Hold hair spray can make it through an eight to ten hour day with at least three hours of dancing with leaps and pirouettes then it can certainly make it through a day at the office. I highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to keep their hair in place without weighing it down.
