You want to get there early to find parking and to get a good view of the parade. You will also want to bring warm outerwear just in case it's cold and you might not be albe to walk to your car. There will be many people there so you want to have a cell phone to keep in touch with friends and family. You can bring a camera and camcorder to record the event and for memory sake.
