If you are down in dumps or angry and just can't seem to get yourself to a better place then these are some tips to try to soothe your soul and awaken your mind as well as your body.

Try writing down your thoughts about how your day went-include the times that made you stressed out as well as the things that went well. By doing this you can look back and see what really sets yourself off, that way you can prepare before it happens again.

Also start your body on an exercise plan, doing so can make you healhier and look better but it can also strength your mind and make you feel at ease after you are done. It's a great way to relieve frustration.

Go on ahead and listen to your favorite toons. While cleaning, cooking, running errands or exercising turn on the music and let it flow. It can really increase your happiness and bring your mind at ease.

Another great tip to try is to distract away from what ailes you. It could be your favorite hobby, doing some cleaning, cooking or just playing the kids outside...distractions matter the most and you won't believe how much more energy you'll have put into that distraction rather than stressing yourself out.

Lastly, try taking a 15 minute nap once a day, preferabbly in mid-afternoon or right after you get off work, those can be stressful times while running errands or having a hard day at work.  Several studies showed that our body only needs 15 minutes to revive ourself-but I tend to think a good 2 hour nap does the trick :)
