How to Surprise Your Wife

Get her vehicle cleaned and serviced for her. Make an appointment to have the oil changed and the engine serviced. Also, have her vehicle washed and detailed for her. Obviously we are going for surprise here, so swap vehicles for the day if possible, but do not let her know the idea ahead of time. This is a very thoughtful way to let her know that you are thinking of her.

Take the initiative and make reservations at her favorite restaurant. When you call the restaurant, ask if they can have an arrangement of her favorite flowers on the table ahead of time. Most upscale restaurants will cater to special requests, but you have to ask.

Have a family portrait made of you and the kids, then have it framed and gift wrapped. Taking photos at the beach, or anywhere outside, always looks serene and picturesque. You can take the photos yourself, if your camera has a timer, or have them professionally done.

Surprise her with a night of peace and quiet. Take the kids out to the movies, the park, or anything else that gets everyone out of the house, and let mom have some time to relax and be alone. She will love this, especially if she is always at home with the little ones. Giving her some "me time" might be the kindest thing you can do for her.

Take her out for a shopping spree at her favorite stores. If she is not into fashion, then take her to an antique store, a book store, or anywhere she will enjoy buying new things. Always offer to pay for her items and carry her bags. Open doors for her at each store and as she enters and exits the vehicle. Have lunch in between stores and let her talk about her week.

The main point here is to be spontaneous. Do not wait for Mother's Day or Valentine's Day to surprise her. Make it an all the time thing and she will appreciate it.
