Milk Thistle Elixer for Poor Digestion and overall health.

Milk Thistle has been used since Greco-Roman times as a remedy for degestive ailments.

You can grow your own Milk thistle and remove seeds. However, the easiest way to obtain them is to purchase from a health food store. Organic is always best but it is helpful in any form. Get a bottle of purified water with preferably minerals added. Boil the water and pour into a cup. Measure out 2 tsps of milk thistle seeds. Seeds are harvested, so you should treat them like any other produce. Insure that you remove any soil or extra leaves. Place seeds on cutting board. Crush the seeds with a spoon or rolling pen until you achieve a powdery consistancy. Place crushed seeds in strainer. Did not use a tightly pourous filter. Put strainer and seeds a top of an empty cup. Poor cup of boiling water over seeds and strainer. Let cool to taste.
