Twilight Zone Elections

In 2012 it is possible that a 9-11 Truther will face off against a guy who believes that 9/11 was an Inside Job. We may have on one side: the temporary head of the Republican Party and known Truther associate, Congressman Ron Paul. His opponent: a man who studies conspiracies and investigates the coming 12/21/2012 Doomsday Apocalypse for a living, former Minnesota governor Jesse Ventura.

To quote the Bard: A better match was not in heaven made….Dude, then where the hell was it made?

Both JesseVentura and Ron Paul have appeared numerous times on the radio talk show of the Lord High Muckety Muck of the Altar of 9-11 Truth, Alex Jones.  If Paul and Ventura run, will it pit two Truthers against each other?  Will we have a guy who believes that 911 was an inside job against a guy who believes that the government has not yet told the truth about what happened on September 11, 2001?

Jesse Ventura has a show on TruTV called conspiracy theory wherein he delves into the mysteries of the ancient Mayan calendar and the possible significace of he date 12/21/2012.

Ron Paul seems convinced that all our financial ills are authored by the Federal Reserve and their manipulation of the currency.

Maybe the 2012 election should be held in the twilight zone.

Looks like Ron Paul just won a straw CPAC poll. He beat the likes of Mitt Romney in the Conservative Political Action Conference Poll.

The political talking heads are spinning this as a non event since their favorites did not win but maybe it’s a wake call to the usual suspects who haunt the political hustings.

What am I saying? Have you seen the Democrats and even some Republicans stampeding for the exits? Maybe they believe that it won’t be enough for faux conservatives like Glen Beck to strafe the wounded and attack Tea Bagger favorites like Texas gubernatorial candidate Debra Medina and conservative Alan Keyes. Maybe the traitors and whores in Washington DC have already pocketed their last bribe from a foreign country for the express purpose of betraying America, and they are getting out while the getting is good.
