Inner World

A poem about the dreamer's and the writer's mind and where it may wander.

Look into the night, you will perceive

A world of darkness with nothing beyond

But open your mind, you will conceive

A place of plenty where body is no bond

Such is the world of the dreamer

Where the thinker wanders, the poet dwells

Where the mind acts as a spiritual redeemer

Hurdling obstacles with magic spells

Earth: bound by space

Space: bound by infinity and never

Though we must always have a place

The dreamer's goes on forever

But though he dreams he does not sleep

Seeing well the hunter's knife

Navigating true though in the deep

The inner world is full of life
