Adverse drug reaction is not a reaction that is pleasant or should be taking lightly. It is a very serious thing to watch out for and take action upon. An adverse drug reaction can kill you. You can stop breathing in as little as a minute if you have an allergic drug reaction. It's imperative that you know what you're allergic to. For example, most people are allergic to latex, seasonal allergies agents, certain medication, food like shrimp, milk, sunscreen and many more. This depends on the individual. It's also a good idea that you write what you're allergic to on a card and carry it with you or you can buy a metal bracelet with the word on it of what you're allergic to. Many elderly and children wear these kinds of bracelet.

Things that will cause an adverse drug reactions are the wrong kind of drugs to a giving medical condition, allergic reaction to it, reaction to another drug or alcohol and over dose case. You can remember one important thing is that if you don't get help right away you can die. Adverse reactions are very dangerous. It's an emergency. The second you find out that you have a reaction, you can call 911 for help right away. You can also help someone if they have a reaction. You can call 911 for help because only the paramedics can take you to the hospital and give you a shot in the car.

Tip number one is to never take in any kind of food or medication that you are allergic to. This is common sense. Tip number two is to follow the instruction on your medication label and do exactly what it tells you to do. Tip number three is to not mix a whole bunch of medication together at once without the prescription of your doctor. You can die with this much medication, it's also called an overdose of concentration of drug. The drug can react with each other and cause an adverse effect within you. Don't ever take medication and then drink alcohol because alcohol increase the effectiveness of some medication and can tell your brain to stop breathing.

How to tell when you have an adverse reaction. Rule number one is that you will have a difficulty time breathing or that you are breathing too fast or too little. You pass out. You feel itchy and have a rash that you never had before. You feel a hot burning sensation inside of you. You're throwing up. You feel very uncomfortable and not at ease. Your face is red. Your heart is beating very fast or very slow. You have diarrhea. You feel very dizzy and fatigue. You're thirsty. There are many more ways to tell because of so many kinds of drugs and allergic reaction out there but the rule of thumb is that if you discover any thing unusual then you should call your doctor or 911 right away. Don't wait because you can die.
