If you have dry skin than no matter what year round you are feeling it's effects. Most of your dry skin is probably around your forehead where the least amount of attention is given too. These are easy steps to keeping your skin looking soft, dewy and moisturized.

Step 1

People with dry skin shouldn't wash their face every day, you should actually wash your face 3-5 times per week or just limit it to once per day. the best time to wash your face is during the night before bed, assuring that you apply a creamy lotion to your face so your body can do it's work overnight repairing your skin.

Step 2

Always apply an SPF of at least 15, now days you can buy an all-over or all-in-one moisturizer that contains SPF 15. Do not apply any gel to your face, it must be creamy.

Step 3

Also look for a lotion with alpha hydroxy acid, that helps to fade fine lines or wrinkles and keep the moisture in your face. I do believe that Oil of Olay has a great line with all of it in one.

Step 4

And finally, try using a facial buffer about twice a week (I however, use one once a day since I severe dry skin) The buffer helps to alleviate the dry skin by removing dead skin cells from the surface and promotes healthy skin cell growth so you have less dry skin.

Step 5

Okay,  this one is final-drink plenty of water, eat your fruits and have a balanced diet everyday. Perhaps consider taking some vitamins as well.
