Things You’ll Need:

  • 1 Cup Butter
  • ½ Cup Brown or White if you do not have brown Sugar
  • 3 Tablespoons Spiced Rum, like Captain Morgan’s.
  • Small Sauce Pan

Gather together the following ingredients: 1 Cup Butter, ½ Cup Brown or White if you do not have brown Sugar, 3 Tablespoons Spiced Rum, like Captain Morgan’s.

In a sauce pan melt butter, add sugar and rum. Over medium heat bring to a slight boil.

Puncture a few knife holes in the breads or cakes that you plan to glaze. While the breads or cakes are cooling brush the glaze over it. After 10 minutes, invert breads or cakes and pour remaining glaze over them. Using a basting brush is helpful.
