Make Crabbies or Crab Appetizers
Crabbies make wonderful snacks or appetizers. This is a quick and easy dish for a party. The best part is that you can make this ahead and store in the freezer for future use. Perfect for when last minute guests show up! Easy, fun and yummy!!!
1 Stick Butter
1 Jar Old English Cheese (found in the dairy case)
1 ½ Teaspoon Mayo
½ Teaspoon Garlic Salt
½ Teaspoon Seasoned Salt, such as Lawry’s Season Salt
1 Can Crabmeat
6 English Muffins
Soften butter and cheese to room temperature.
Mix first 6 ingredients together in a large bowl. Set Aside.
Split English muffins in half (crumpets are really good with this too!) Spread mixture on split muffins.
Freeze each muffin until solid. Once frozen, remove from freezer and cut each muffin into pie shaped slices (4 or 8 slices). They can now be placed in the freezer to store until needed or cooked.
When ready to serve these, place under broiler until warm and bubbly, serve. If cut into 8 slices this will make 96 pieces, great for a party!
