How to Make Sangria

This is a recipe for a unique and yummy cocktail that is perfect for any brunch, party, holiday, or when expecting guests.  This would be perfect for New Year’s Eve or Christmas!  Note: This recipe contains alcohol.  When we are preparing for the holidays we get in a mad rush for entertainment and food, but somehow the drinks fall by the waste side or we spend a fortune at the liquor store making sure we have something for everyone and we can make every cocktail possible.  This is a great way to save on costs and have cocktails available for everyone!

Gather the following ingredients:

1 (750 ml) Bottle Fruity Dry Red Wine

¼ Cup Brandy

2 Tablespoons Sugar

2 Thinly Sliced Lemons

2 Thinly Sliced Oranges

3 Cups Sparking Water

Ice Cubes for Serving

In a large sangria pitcher combine wine, brandy, sugar, lemons, and oranges.

Stir until sugar is dissolved.

Add the sparkling water and stir to blend. When ready to serve:  fill 4 glasses with ice and sangria and serve immediately.
