How to Make Yummy Easy Egg Rolls

Making homemade egg rolls are easier than you may think. This is a less expensive way to enjoy this wonderful Chinese food. These do freeze easily!
Gather the following ingredients:
1 Pound Ground Meat (what ever your prefer, pork, beef, chicken, or shrimp)
3 Cups Shredded Cabbage
1 8ox Can Bamboo Shoots, drained and chopped
½ Cup Chopped Mushrooms
4 Medium Green, sliced
2 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
1 Teaspoon Cornstarch
1 Teaspoon Five Spice Powder
½ Teaspoon Sugar
16-18 Egg Roll Skins
Pinch of Salt
Oil for frying
Stir fry meat until browned or fully cooked. Remove from pan and drain.
Stir fry cabbage, bamboo shoots, mushrooms, and onions.
Mix soy sauce, cornstarch, sugar, and pinch of salt and pour over vegetables. Stir fry another minute and then set aside to cool.
Mix meat and vegetables together.
Place about ¼ cup of mixture on egg roll skin, fold ends and roll. Moisten corners with water and seal.
Heat oil and deep fry until golden brown, set on plate covered with paper towel to drain oil and cool.
