Love is compared to nature in first poetry piece. A relationship with wonder in the second poem is expressed.

Many times, an object can be so similar to express feelings in a piece of Poetry. Nature, in all its beauty in a flower, is represented by the words in "Flower of Love". Picture the imagery created with this poem as you read my words describing both nature and Love side by side.

"Flower Of Love"

Flower buds are closed and buried by the new fallen snow.

Awaiting the newness of spring, that seem so long ago.

Love is similar, when it is fully embraced by a special one

It is found as a bud and nourished, never able to be undone.

The petals of the flower are stretched out like the arms

Welcoming the others, many heartfelt, warming charms.

Stems might be tall and towering way above the grass

Small in stature are also as preciious, as a piece of Waterford glass.

The pistils are of different colors and strengths as characters seem to be

Growing with each other, wanting to be accepted so absolutely.

Bouquets are admired because of the magnitude and size

Every couple is drawn together , in beauty, of each others eyes.

Extremely precious are the scents the flowers willingly share

So are the feelings, of the couples that earnestly and truly care.

Some of my poetry has such depth of wondering about a special person. "He Is Somewhere" is describing that wonder in words to create a portrait of questioning with hope. Relationships are. at times, very complex especially for the person who is close to that feeling of wondering. The words convey some of the intricate depths of a special man with an almost yearning within the lines. Love is most often sought after, hoping it will be returned to us by the one we give our love to.

"He Is Somewhere"

Looking for a suitable partner for me

Seems very difficult and why should that be?

Like searching the garbage for something I know is there

I keep looking deeply inside, hoping to find it somewhere.

A cut and a bruise have certainly come my way

However I remain hopeful for that wonderful day.

I will, browse and seek being so bold

For the man who will my heart again hold.

Such care this time, I will be very wise

Making sure to be aware and open my eyes.

My understanding, caring traits I will give

Making sure this time fo comfortably live.

There is a treasure hidden so far away

A diamond in the rough, I will find it someday.
