To ensure the best skin care treatment, it's great to get an occasional facial mask. This do-it-yourself at-home facial is a powerful mix of exfoliation, healing, softening and glow that will leave your skin feeling better than ever!

Things You’ll Need:
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 Tbs. cocoa powder
  • 1 Tbs. honey
  • Oatmeal
  • Water
  • A cup or small bowl
  • A fork or other stirring implement
  • Moisturizer
Step 1: Place half a teaspoon baking powder in a little bowl or cup. The baking powder creates the nice glow in this skin care treatment.
Step 2: Add half a tablespoon pure cocoa powder. The cocoa powder is full of antioxidants, which helps your skin heal and keeps it looking young!
Step 3: Next, add in one tablespoon of honey. This holds your skin care treatment together. The honey helps your skin retain moisture and also holds some healing properties.
Step 4: Mix in oatmeal. Add it until you have a nice consistency that can be applied to the skin easily and stay on as well. The oatmeal is a great exfoliant, especially if you massage it in! This creates a skin care treatment that results in clean and healthy skin. You should exfoliate once a week.
Step 5: As you stir in the oatmeal, you'll need to add some water. A little bit goes a long way, so be careful or you'll end up with a very runny skin care treatment! You may need to experiment back and forth with the oatmeal and water until you get the consistency you need.
Step 6: Wash your face, then massage the mixture into your face. The more you rub, the better the exfoliation. Leave it on for about ten minutes. It should have a very distinct feeling – and that's good! It means that it's working.

Step 7: Wash off with warm water. The mixture will leave your face very clean and beautiful, but a little bit dry. Finish off this skin care treatment with your favorite mosturizer. Voilà! A beautiful face.
