Coffee is good, cappuccino is great. Find out whether you want to try Hills Bros. Cappuccino drink mix.
I love to drink coffee drinks when they taste good. I especially enjoy drinking hot coffee drinks during the cooler weather of fall and winter. I recently purchased a 16 ounce container of Hills Bros. Cappuccino drink mix, English Toffee flavor, while grocery shopping. I had never tried this particular brand of coffee drinks; however, I do know that Hills Bros. coffee is very popular here in the south. It is the chosen brand for just about all the convenience stores in the area or at least the stores I have visited.
Generally, when I choose a coffee drink mix it is International Coffee, one of the more popular brands of coffee drink mixes, which I enjoy some of their flavors as well. However, this brand was a bit cheaper and something new in the store where I do my grocery shopping, so I figured I would give it a try, just to see what it taste like.
According to the directions on the container of Hills Bros. Cappuccino drink mix, English Toffee flavor it gives the directions for making a hot coffee drink using boiling water as well as directions for making a cold coffee drink using milk and vanilla ice cream. I was in the mood for a hot coffee drink, so that is the way I made it. I have not tried it using the cold drink directions.
I found the Hills Bros. Cappuccino drink mix, English Toffee flavor to be quite nice. It is smooth and creamy and has a very nice toffee flavor. It did not seem to have enough coffee flavor to me. I find no information concerning caffeine on the label; however, it is not labeled as caffeine free. It does include instant coffee, soy, nonfat dry milk sweet dairy whey and a few artificial flavorings and cocoa.
I did enjoy drinking this hot English toffee flavor coffee drink, it nicely kept me warm while drinking it. However, I do believe I prefer just a bit more of a kick from a coffee drink, whether it is a hot coffee drink or a cold coffee drink. One thing I did try while using Hills Bros. Cappuccino drink mix, English Toffee flavor, while it was a bit warm one day was to sprinkle it over some vanilla ice cream and mix it up together. I think I like it better added to ice cream vanilla ice cream rather than in drink form. I have not tried it as directed for a cold coffee drink, but after mixing it with some vanilla ice cream I think I may just do that some time.
One thing that really did impress me is that Hills Bros. supports the National Breast Cancer Foundation in the mission of saving lives through early detection of breast cancer with a donation of $25,000 that will go towards helping the National Breast Cancer Foundation provide medical screening to women in need. I think this is a noble thing for any brand name to do for any type of charity. So, it is good to know that some of the money you spend for such a product will go to help others who need assistance in some manner.
