Dear you
Relationships are always interesting if nothing else. My poem depicts that aspect of one love.
This is one of those letters, in prose, that never will be sent.
"Dear You"
Roaming through these tears of mine for you
Time has been on my side giving me many a clue.
I've needed to think what is the best for myself this time
Instead of being stupid and almost completely blind.
You have had those effects on me in the recent past
So this time I'm taking heed if we are going to even last.
Not so sure of what the outcome for us will be
Which frightens and puts many reservations inside of me.
My heart is so crazy for you and that, you certainly know
No matter what, my heart beats fast and will not go slow.
I'm almost sure you have had this affect on one before
Since you handle this and seem to like it , even the more.
After our talk with me telling you what I really need
I'm sure you listened and not so sure you will actually heed.
The words were not said just to get out of my mind and off my chest
They were shared to hopefully have us now do our very best.
My part seems to be, to take bertter care of just me
Because my heart seems to take off, as if it is so free.
I can go on without you, because that happened before we met
However the wonderful memories don't leave and allow me for forget.
Being together for me, means a caring we both share
My wish is that you will truly and deeply want to care.
If we are at all close in this journey ahead of us
Then I will be traveling with you and not make any fuss.
If, however, there are huge differences that you see
Please leave me where I am and don't summon my heart in me.
