Making Money Writing Articles for Ehow and Associated Content

Two great sites for writing articles online, Ehow and Associated Content.

My two favorite places for making money online writing articles are Ehow and Associated Content. Both have advantages and disadantages, and here's a comparrison between the two for those who are interested in  writing articles for money.

Ehow is my current favorite site for writing articles. At Ehow you submit How-To articles on just about anything. I don't like writing long articles, and the 150 word minimum is perfect for me. The pay seems to be good too, better than the page view bonus at Associated Content. I'm not sure how they figure out the pay rate, it's supposedly a secret, but at present I have about a hundred articles on Ehow and I'm making about 30 bucks per month. That doesn't seem high, but I'm expecting it to go higher, as about half of those articles were written in the past few weeks. Many people at Ehow make a lot more than that.

Associated Content works a bit differently. You can write articles on almost anything here too, including poetry and short fiction if you want. You can submit your articles in several different ways, including for upfront payments. The upfront payments range from a dollar to fifty bucks(and I've heard in some cases, even more) per article. Mine are usually around five or six dollars, and that seems to be about normal for the site. Then, you get the page view bonus as well for all your articles, whether you've submitted for upfront payments or not. The page view bonus ranges from $1.50 to $2 per 1000 page views, depending on what level you're at. The word count minimum is 400 words at Associated Content.

I've been at Assiciated content for a year and a half, and I hardly ever write articles there anymore, but I still steadily get about 20 bucks a monthe ther, it's a very reliable site.

I love both Ehow and Associated Content, I recommend both sites for anyone looking to make extra money writing articles online.

Good stuff, I tried Helium originally, but did not like how they force you to review others articles to be able to get paid on yours. Plus you had no choice over what content you wanted to review, you could only pass over a few articles then you had to review what came up, many times it was about things I had no interest in.

You said i copied articles and gave them a new name? I hope to god your not saying i copied this article. And i didn't copy a thing. IM an Internet Marketer & a sell these articles as ebooks. So next time you plan on leaving a rude comment think again.

I'm with you. eHow rocks! :) I also write for Triond though find I neglect them in favor of spending my time writing on ehow.
