Part two, issue one of online arts, photography and literature magazine

In Part 2 of Issue one I have decided to publish some poetry that have been submitted to me. Following is a poem of great passion and depth, and yet at the same time a very vivid expression of pain.   It was submitted by my friend Carenda Widmer.

Nothing

I am nothing without him..... he is everything...

he is the air I breath he is the one that makes me smile

takes the pain away I want to trade places with him........

he holds so much love.....

love or so many that......that love is returned

I......have....nothing but him.... my life...is meaningless.....

I want to hold him in my arms... kiss his sweet lips.....

but....I...am useless.....and breaking

because I....can not save him....... his fate is in....anothers hands....

I....see now I am not fit to fall in love....

that loves...is always taken away....no matter what or how great....

I have no power.....I am weak.....

I cry here.......dieing..inside.....while others laugh around me.....

and at me...

I....will go with him.....and stay by his side......

not even darkness can tear us apart......

the light of our love will always shine through....

because.....I am nothing without him....

I would like to thank all contributors for their interest in the fulfillment of this creative undertaking, this magazine would have never come to fruition without your input. Next we have another great poem, this one is from my friend Joann Adkins who goes by the Nickname Silence.

Alone, on a crowded dance floor

he came to her with a wicked grin

taking her hand he spun her round

then brought her body back to him again

he kissed her lips and when she blushed

he bent to whisper seductively

"and then my love we'll dance once more

with blindfolds and silk galore

we'll move as one untill life is spent

and alone you will be to spend"

She looked to him with infatuation

moving her hips to his rythm

she wasnt allowed, and never did dare

to take him into her carressement

for she was his to play with alone

she held no power in this game of hunt

He spun her around then brought her back

with forceful arms he made her command

never endured submission before

he was her hopeless addiction

for when the night left sorrows alive

she lay on her side with only her scars

only the remnants of loves suicide to occupy

"And then my love you'll cry for me

reach out with bloody arms

You'll beg for truth and scream till death

for you I do not love"

Alone, she was left on a crowded bed

soaked with pleasure's side affect

such a thin line with pain and passion

the linen held all her confessions

she lifted the rope and kissed it gently

it was her only medication

her body hung above her sin

feet dancing but without life

her lover was her incarseration

"And then my love you'll die tonight

in the name of thy surrender"

Joann Adkins a.k.a. Silence

Joann was one of the first of my friends to show interest in this project, I wish her great success in all literary pursuits of the future. I hope that this magazine serves as a great instrument for that success.

I would like to share one of my personal works as well,

 Legacy

My life, my heart, my blood for the masses

the throngs of people that drive the nails into my casket

kiss us all just once a sweet goodbye and then we fly,

to that place beyond the sky,

on that day even angels cry,

while those same people are left wondering why,

these same people where were they during life,

they grieve now but before they twisted the knife,

the knife in my side

live or die

all with pride

something deep in the memories just will not let go

these same people say we all owe what we are not here to pay,

life for a life,

tis the end of the rain,

now is only memories, circumstance, regret and pain,

but it serves the masses right

this life wasn't there's to claim, such a shame, all in vain,

but forever they,

will know my name
