Water skiing is a popular water sport and it is a lot of fun.  Water skiing is something that takes great concentration and coordination.  If you are new at this sport, it may be wise to start out slow and increase your speed when you gain sufficient experience.  It is best for beginners to practice on smaller lakes or rivers before graduating to the bay waters.

Next, jet skiing is another sport that provides exercise and it is a great deal of fun.  Jet skiing doesn’t require any real training other then to be alert, wear your life preserver and keep enough distance between yourself and others engaging in the same sport.  Jet skis can be rented for about $50 for a few hours of fun in the sun.

Surfing is a well-known water sport that looks exciting.  However, this sport can be very dangerous if you are not professional.  An amateur surfer needs to be cautious when first starting out.  Surfing competitions are quite common in warmer climates.  This sport can be great fun but you need to be cautious at all times for various reasons.  Hawaii and California is home to professional and frequent surfers.  Each year Hawaii and California hold various surfing competitions for the well-seasoned surfer.   Surfing can be much harder than it really looks.
