I am not a vegetarian, but this recipe is right up vegetarian alley, enjoy.

I will be the first to say,I am not a vegetarian, but every so often a man decides that a healthy recipe is a good recipe. In this case, I was inspired to write this one and share it with the world. I hope you all enjoy it. Ingredients for this particular treat (which would be best prepared in the summer months) include the following.

2 whole sliced pineapples, 4-6 peaches, and one average sized cantaloupe.                                                    The reason for the 4-6 peaches is the fact that peaches are the smallest fruit in the recipe and you want each flavor in the smoothie to be distinguishable. Be sure to slice the pineapple and cantaloupe very thin.

Blend the ingredients for one to two minutes or until smoothie is well mixed. I recommend using a standard blender. The best way to serve the smoothie would be in a coffee mug. I recommend this simply because coffee mugs hold a fair amount and spill less easily than other beverage holders.

Dear readers, you may add anything you wish to the recipe to make it your own, I also suggest serving with ice.     If you like you may double the recipe to cater to a larger crowd, great for parties and get togethers of various kinds. Thank you all and may you and yours pass this recipe along for others to enjoy.

If you care for one more suggestion, I'd recommend adding grapes or cherries as toppers. Making it a kind of smoothie/cocktail hybrid. Great recipe for those of you looking for a unique addition to your "bringing in the New Year" festivities.

Happy Upcoming 2009!
