As I see it

How many things are different than we expect, hope and then how they finally end? This is a piece of prose to reflect all those things.

Poetry is so personal for some people. For others it is a cleansing to get things out of their heads. Still there are poets who write for the sheer enjoyment of the things they see, experience or know that others have gone through in their lives. Most poetry is timeless because the same feelings are felt by others at some point in their world. It amazes me how so many people can have the events in their life take place just as I have placed these words together for you to read.

"As I see it"

My head wants to write about one subject and my heart another.

Messages come in my head then my heart has to smother.

Seems as though they both dicker back and forth to and fro

Neither, as I see it, has all the answers you know.

My mind is tired of thinking things will be so much better

The fact remains, your heart can definitely use a sweater.

I would like to have some better feelings of each of us

But the way I see it, you don't care that I am making such a fuss.

This has been going on too long for me to easily let it go

The way I see it, your reactions and behaviors are way too slow.

Now just in case you actually do not even care for me

I''d better plan on a thoughtful exit stragedy.

Pretty soon you will be back home and calling me I know

As I see it, I'd better be ready for a deep and sudden blow.

The end for us might be so very near

As I see it, perhaps it has always been so crystal clear.

I keep thinking things will be different than I see it

However things seem to have been accumulating in a very deep pit.

How I wish my blinder on my eyes did not give way

So I might know, that, as I see it, I could once again say.
