Last Minute Festive Centerpieces

Nov 26th, 2009 by HappyGoLucky

Tiny little centerpieces can be featured all over the house at this time of year... even on the backs of toilets! Didn't see that one did you lol...??

1. Start with a runner and then play with holiday figurines or salt and pepper shakers you might already have. My sister gave me one a few years ago that is gorgeous. It's white with embroidered poinsettias. A few candles featured in the middle is as busy as you need it to be.

2. You could use the same runner idea and then feature a bowl full of Angel Hair and some Christmas Ornaments nestled inside

3. Pile some Christmas books in a grouping, or even leave one open to a specific poem or story that appeals to you.

4. Christmas cards from years gone by makes a centerpiece that people can't help but touch... so be prepared.

5. How about a miniature Christmas Tree? My first tree was, believe it or not, a grand total of 12 inches high. It came with a tiny string of lights and miniature ornaments. I still have it and I use it in the family room on an end table. Just a cute little touch that I couldn't imagine not featuring.

6. You might want to save little boxes throughout the year. I'm thinking of those boxes that tea bags come packed in. Save them and then wrap them in Christmas paper and then pile them all in the middle of the table. Done!
