5 Good reasons to have a cat
The list of reasons to have a cat goes beyond what I say here. You get a cat and you can add to my list very easily.
Not any part of my life has been without a cat. Right now I have 3 kitties, who make up part of my family. So many negative statements have been said about cats, which I cannot agree with at all; therefore providing me with this article. Like any animal, if you supply the cat with food, water, some attention and a place to excrete, they will be a good pet.
1. The cat will look forward to the time you give them nourishment. Someone is depending on YOU, to make the meal appear for them to devour. At times you might acquire a rubbing cat that will thank you for the food before it is given to that cat. What a nice reward to having a cat.
2. When ill recently, with a fever, my one kitty decided to wake me up by licking my face. No, this is not one of the pleasures of owning a cat. I state this because of that licking, I realized I was feverish and needed to be awakened to drink some water and reduce my fever before going back to sleep. People have stated cats don't do anything. I have a reason to have a cat because he does take care of me when I am sick.
3. Anyone living alone, knows the feeling of coming home to a cat that recognizes they were gone and is happy to see them. What a reason to have a cat in a home. I like being welcomed home by my kitties.
4. Kitties require little attention, and they provide the owners with much. As soon as I sit down, there is a rush toward me to sit on my lap and I am summoned to pet them.
5. Health is important to everyone. Petting a cat is great for the mobility of my fingers, my blood pressure and my entire body inside. They love me and take my love from me. The better I treat them, it seems, the better I get treated.

Kitties are so great!! My kitty Lucy keeps me company while I write.
It has been proven that owning and caring for a pet is beneficial. Right now we have four dogs and a cat. My kittie made it to 16, then died recently from cancer. His name was Lunch, I'll do a piece on him. Thanks, Clay
