Low carb cracker for LCHF diet.

Nov 23rd, 2009 by EllaofSweden

This is a perfect little cracker for us who use the LCHF diet.

This is a recepie for a low carb cracker that is really good and can replace bread for those who miss it.

Ingredienses:
2 dl linseed or flax-seed
1,5 dl sesameseed
1 dl pumpkinseed
1 dl sunflowerseed, rosted
Salt

Do like this
pour all the seeds in a bowl, cover with water and put in the fridge for at least six hours. Could be over the night, or over the day. The seeds suck up the water and the linseeds contrabutes to a "sticky" feeling.

Put the "dough" on a baking paper on a bakingplate, try to get it as even as possible. Sprinkle salt to your taste. behag.

Bake for one hour in 125°c with the owen door closed.
Then lower the heat to 100°c and bake for one more hourwhile you open the owen door about every 15 minuits just to let the moist out.

Shot of the owen, let the baking plate stay in the owen and keep the owen door a little bit open, about a cm and let it stay until cool.

Take it out and break in to the pieces that you prefer.

OBS! It should be crispy and dry! If the dough still is soft after the seccond hour, let it bake a little longer and feel until its dry.
Its good if most of the dough is dry and crispy when you shot the owen off.

Eat with butter and cheese!

Hope you enjoy this recepie and that you look at the rest of my articles, I will put up more recepies for the LCHFdiet. Have a nice day!
