The death of the darkness and the birth of enlightenment...

The Vanquishing

Though moon's paled anguish openly wounding,
Myst'ry turns wisdom as youth turn the page.
Dew will shine soon with grassy blades soothing;
Hardened stone heart, education of age.

Shadows befallen, confined to thy realm,
Nameless one enters forgiving thy sin.
Dark tears from within, thou art overwhelmed;
Lightened with brilliance as new days begin.

New moon has risen and time to stand right;
Awakening more whom from darkness flee,
From shivering cold in dead of the night,
Warm sunrise of morning thou shalt soon see.

Imprisoned soul once more will be set free,
As demons of night are vanquished from thee.
